Navigating to the Hogwarts Greenhouses
The Herbology classroom is situated inside the massive greenhouses located on the exterior grounds of the castle. To reach this vibrant area, players should open their map and look toward the Library Annex or Bell Tower Wing sectors. Following the golden trail provided by your charmed compass will guide you directly through the castle exit and toward the glass structures.
As you step outside, the large glass panes of the greenhouses will become visible against the castle backdrop. You will need to walk across the connecting pathways and enter the main structure on the left side. Inside, you will immediately meet your new instructor, Professor Garlick, who is ready to begin the lesson.
Completing Your First Lesson in the Classroom
Once you arrive at the designated classroom, a narrative cutscene will trigger to introduce you to the wonderful world of magical flora. Your first practical task involves interacting with a noisy Mandrake root and safely repotting it. Following the quick button prompts will allow you to complete this introductory exercise without hurting your ears.
After managing the Mandrake, you must speak with Professor Garlick privately to receive your next objective. She will grant you access to your own personal potting table situated within the room. Here, you can plant the Dittany seeds you previously acquired during your mandatory trip to Hogsmeade.
Venturing Into the Secondary Greenhouse
The lesson quickly expands beyond the initial classroom as you are instructed to meet a fellow student named Leander Prewett. He will guide you out of the main room and into the adjacent greenhouse section down the hall. This secondary area holds unique tools that are highly effective during difficult combat encounters.
Upon entering the new room, players can harvest Chinese Chomping Cabbages directly from the elevated flowerbeds.
